Kollmorgen was founded in 1916 by Otto Kollmorgen to manufacture periscopes many of which were sold to the US Navy. In the 1960’s Kollmorgen expanded its business into the industrial control market by acquiring Inland Motors Corporation and others. Later, PMI became another motion control brand owned by Kollmorgen. Kollmorgen itself was acquired by Danaher in 2000.

SERVOSTAR

The SR55 Series comes in several models that have currents that range from 3 - 55 Amps continuous and in both 115 / 230 Volts. Resolver support is standard while encode/hall support is an option.

The series below have a continuous current range from 3 - 10 Amps, 9 - 20 Amp peak, and offer encoder support.

This series of drives comes in three phase with a voltage range of 400 - 480 with resolver support standard. It has a current range of 3 - 20 Amps continuous with a peak range of 6 - 40 Amps.
